Accusations of Confidentiality Breach
On Wednesday 19 January 2022, I attended an online coffee morning for parent carers in Bristol about Alternative Provision and Education Other Than At School (EOTAS).
I attended this meeting because one of my children has used Alternative Provision and has an EOTAS package.
It was run by the SENDIAS service Send and You.
The event was for any parent carer in the city and I signed up for this as a parent with my personal email address. It had absolutely nothing to do with the parent carer forum. This was in no way a meeting for professionals.
Send and You and Bristol City Council, took umbrage when I Tweeted two facts I had learnt in the meeting. This, they claimed was me breaching confidentiality as a member of the parent carer forum – despite it having absolutely nothing to do with them.
In fact, the council relied on it as part of their Spies and Lies behaviour. They published it in an official report as an instance where I had breached forum rules. The defamation had to be quietly removed for which an apology was not issued.
It is at times hard not to be baffled by the sheer level of ineptitude one must deal with as a parent navigating council services. But Send And You have let down every single parent carer by joining in with spying.

Three different email chains around this reveal slightly different information about the who it was from and where it went.
It doesn’t take Sherlock to show Send And You right up to their necks in Spies and Lies.
The ‘Fact-Finding Report’ prepared for People Scrutiny Commission on Monday 26 September 2022 included the above online surveillance to accuse me of leaking confidential information. It was in paragraph 34 of the report by Head of Legal Services, Nancy Rollason.
I submitted a question about paragraph 34 to the meeting. In the written officer response was: ‘At no point has a formal concern been raised by the SENDIASS about the PCF with the council.’
Spies and lies indeed.
